I will be changing things up here. A new theme will be coming, and I may move off WordPress… I like it, and it serves its purpose for straight up blogging, but I want more from this site now. I am glad you came to check it out, but come back more often and see what else I have done.

I have quit smoking. I have hit my two week mark today! What helped me quit? Vaping… What is that? Well you may have heard about e-cigs or electronic cigarettes. You are basically inhaling liquid nicotine in a vapor form, therefore they refer to this as vaping.

I have absolutely enjoyed ever moment of it, and have not had any real cravings for the stinkerettes at all.

It has been hard finding the time to blog anymore. Today its easy to find a lot places to talk to each other, or to people you dont even know. I mean, you can use Twitter to find people you find interesting and follow them. You can catch up with old friends on Facebook as well… It seems to me that the art of blogging is fading away almost. I dont find a lot of blogs that I like to follow, but there are a few out there. I found one that I wish was updated more, or even in the last six months. Such is life I suppose.

I know it has been a long while since i have posted anything,.. sorry. Things have been a little crazy for me lately and this is why I am posting this update late on Sunday night lol. Anyways, I have just finished watching season three of the TV show Las Vegas – I love that show! Anyways, I just miss being Vegas that much more each episode I watch. Well, off to get some sleep, I will try to update more so the two or three people who still check my blog have something to read.

So, I dont know why but I had the movie Fifth Element stuck in my head… And that opera type song the “Diva” sings is actually pretty amazing if you ask me. So I thought I would give it a listen via YouTube, and here among all the results is what I found. All I can say is… wow.

So, I like other who were drinking on Saturday, am getting a grip on reality once more. I think this past Saturday I drank more than I ever have – to the point where I dont remember a lot of what was going on lol. I remember parts of things, but not the entire story of anything?? Does that make sense? Either way, I had a blast!

We always make our way to the Twisted Thistle Pub for the adult’s only show, as this has now become part of the tradition (though I think going every Saturday is tradition all in its own). During this show we listened to a great song about the female anatomy (ill refrain from actual wording used to ensure you can see this from work lol). Then, of course, the Pirate took the stage to begin his “Tales of the Sea” story. This is an audience participation story kinda like a Add-Lib type deal – always a fun time. This time though, I had already had WAY to much to drink and was conversing with my Nephew John Jelley (that link will take you to his Twitter page). Though none of us are real sure what we were talking about, we are sure it had something to do with the bar wench… as the topic of conversation revolved around women all day…. Anways, he asked me a question, that I dont recall now, and I was giving my answer in my normal “I have had to much to drink” volume voice. Apparently this was louder than the Tales of the Sea guy could/would talk so he told me to “Shut Up”. How bad is it that the one thing I can remember is me getting told to shut up? Just glad I am a happy drunk and not a mean one  lol!! I did shut up, as I guess it was rude of me.

We have two more weekends to go, and sadly, Hendo will not be in attendance this coming Saturday. I dope to see John there though. My wife will not be there either, she has to take a trip to Michigan to pick up our son. But come closing weekend – LOOK OUT! Its going to be a fun time – so you should plan to come out and attend. Rain or Shine – I will be there.

This past Saturday was another fantastic day at the KY Highland Ren Faire! It was, however, scorching hot outside… but there was plenty of beer to help keep you cool

Tartanic was very entertaining this weekend, so if you missed it you missed a lot! Dont worry, they will be back on the 18th and 19th of July! So you can come out to see them then and enjoy the closing weekend of the season. On another note, my brother came out for the first time with his girlfriend Karen. They seemed to have a great time as does everyone who attends. Here are a few pictures I took with my phone (I forgot my Nikon at home). There are additional ones in the Photo Gallery as well. PS – Third row during the Nothing But Mud Show ….. Not a good idea.
